Chokolate Truffle

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Cook Time: 15 minutes | About 175 kcal per serving

Ingredients:

  • ‚Äč100g Almond meal 

  • 8 Medjool dates

  • 1/2 ripe Avocado

  • 1 tablespoon pure Maple Syrup

  • 1 Tablespoon Cacao Powder (plus extra for dusting) 


Yield: 10 Truffles

Directions:

  1. Put dates in bowl and cover in boiling water. Leave them to soak for 30 minutes, until they softened. 

  2. Place dates, maple syrup, cacao powder, avocado and almond meal in food processor and process until well combined. The mixture should be a little bit sticky. 

  3. Scoop out one heaped teaspoon of the mixture and roll into a ball, using your hands (they should be wet). 

  4. Place the balls on a baking tray with baking paper and refrigerate for 30 minutes. 

  5. Serve with extra cacao to coat the balls. 


Tip: serve with fruit salad.
