What is Dementia?
Dementia is a general term (not a specific disease) that describes a group of symptoms which negatively impacts memory severe enough to interfere with daily life.
Alzheimer’s is the most common form of dementia with 60-80% of cases, while Vascular Dementia is the second most common dementia type. Nevertheless, there are many other conditions that cause symptoms of dementia. As opposed to Alzheimer’s, some forms of dementia are reversible.

Stuffed Peppers
Prep Time: 15 minutes | Cook Time: 30 minutes | About 258 kcal per serving
4 peppers (green, yellow, red) - large & washed 1 pound turkey (washed) 1 cup of rice (uncooked) ½ cup onions (peeled & chopped) 1 ½ cup of tomato sauce, no added salt Black pepper for taste Yield: 4 servings
Cut around the stem of peppers, and remove seed and pulpy part of peppers. Cook peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain well. Put turkey in non-stick saucepan heat over medium heat until brown. Add rice, onion and ½ cup of tomato sauce. Also add black pepper for taste. Stuff each pepper with mixture and place in casserole dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers, cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit (175 degrees celsius). Tip: serve with greek salad or potatoes.
