French Toast

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Cook Time: 5 minutes | About 286 kcal per serving

8 eggs ⅓ cup of milk 8 slices day-old bread (any day-old bread will work) ¼ teaspoon nutmeg as desired Yield: 4 servings

Mix eggs and milk (and if desired nutmeg) in bowl until it’s blended. Take 1 bread slice at a time and soak it in egg mixture. Dip one side at a time and let stand each side about 1 minute in the mixture. Grease non-stick, large frying pan and heat it until hot. Place soaked bread slices in hot pan. Important: it should be single layer. Immediately reduce heat to medium and cook until golden (usually 2-3 minutes per side). There should be no visible liquid egg remains. Serve immediately. Tip: eat with Maple Syrup for maximum taste.
